Slush Update: 7/6/2025
All submissions to Starspun Lit sent on or before June 20, 2025 have been responded to.
If you sent a submission on or before June 20 and you have not received a response, please query us at office@starspunlit.org (office AT starspunlit DOT org). Include the story’s title, the date of submission, and the email address from which you submitted it.
We will get back to you as soon as we can, most likely within 24 hours. If you don’t hear back from us within 72 hours, that means we didn’t get your query. In that case, please send us another query from a different email address as there may be issues with spam filtering.

Submissions News: 7/6/2025
Over the past two weeks, we have received a record-breaking number of submissions! Thank you to the folks over at Author's Publish for listing us in their article about new literary magazine opportunities. That listing allowed us to grow faster than we ever thought and turn our reach truly worldwide.
We appreciate everyone's patience as our response times have increased. We are working hard to provide everyone with the feedback they deserve as we short-list stories to create the best issues for our readers.
To our authors: your stories have blown us away. We are excited to keep reading through the rest of the submissions and see what other gems lay in our slush pile.
