5/31/2025: Spring 2025 Issue out now!

Three-fourths of the way through this year! We're so proud of all the authors who submitted, and are pleased to say that Starspun Lit is the first to publish an Alex Maxfield story (check out The Queen of the Middlemist). To those wondering why there are only two stories, it's because of the length. We try to keep our issues around a certain word count, and since both stories published this issue are on the longer side, we chose to publish just two. We hope you enjoy these exquisite tales. 5/15/2025: Calling artists and volunteers!

We are currently looking for more digital artists to join our team. Please visit the artist guidelines under "Submit" to learn more about how to get involved. We are also looking for members to expand our outreach and host read-alouds in their communities. Please email us if you're interested! We're always looking for enthusiastic volunteers.

2/23/2025: Winter 2025 Issue out now!

Second issue! We're so proud of all the authors who submitted, and Hulan Chadraa outdid herself with the artwork. We hope children all over can enjoy these fantastical tales. Happy reading!

10/23/2024: Fall 2024 Issue out now!

Our first issue is out now! We hope you enjoy this wonderful selection of stories, and we thank you for all your support in helping us get launched. We plan to bring plenty more stories and resources to come, but for now, we'll let the words of these wonderful authors regale you.

9/11/2024: Update regarding site artwork

We are currently working on replacing all artwork on the site. If you are an artist and would like to contribute, please fill out the guest artist submission and let us know you would like to work on art for the website.

9/7/2024: Submissions

As we are now up and running, our submission window has opened for our first edition in October 2024. We will be sharing three stories digitally, each with full-color illustrations by our artists. The deadline to submit is September 30th!
