We are currently looking for more digital artists and volunteers to join our team.
Artists will help illustrate stories and blog content. Please visit the Artist Guidelines page to learn more. We need you!
Volunteers will help coordinate read-alouds (our most needed position!), conduct outreach, or join our editing team to slush read and/or produce blog content. Please email us at office@starspunlit.org (office AT starspunlit DOT org) if you are interested! We would love to have enthusiastic individuals join us in spreading the mission of Starspun Lit within their own communities.

We are currently curating submissions for our Halloween Special edition! If you have any flash fiction, art, puzzles, articles, etc. related to the spooky season, please submit them to submissions@starspunlit.org (submissions AT starspunlit DOT org) by September 15th, 2025. In your cover letter, please mention that your submission is for our Halloween Special edition.
If submitting a story, please limit your word count to 1,000 words. All other story requirements are detailed in the standard guidelines on our Author Guidelines page.
If submitting art, please ensure it has been digitally created. AI generated art is NOT accepted.
If submitting other forms of media, then show us what you've got! We have no rules other than to keep it kid-friendly.
